About

LJR Consulting Services

We help mid-size businesses to improve their profitability by eliminating wasteful processes in business and utilizing information technology effectively.

We help companies that are challenged in the current economy to eliminate wasteful processes and utilize their existing information technology more effectively.  This enables them to make cuts that will not impact the performance of the organization and reduce cost.

We help companies that are growing to maintain and improve their levels of service and quality by implementing efficient processes and information technology to support their growth.

We work with companies that are making strategic acquisitions to ensure they have a solid information technology system infrastructure to support the acquisitions, perform IT due diligence on acquisition targets and ensure the smooth consolidation of the acquisition onto the parent systems and processes.

With more than 30 years experience contributing to organizations as a Senior Technology Executive, Business Consultant and IT strategist, Lynda Roth has developed keen insight and a proven track record of solving business problems through technology. She also was an early proponent of using information technology not simply to improve business efficiency, but to create a competitive advantage and accelerate business growth.

Lynda began her career as a mainframe programmer and analyst with Ralston Purina, Levi Strauss and McDonnell Douglas. In the 1980s she established her consulting practice, first working with Fortune 500 companies and financial institutions on powerful mainframe accounting systems. Gradually she expanded her practice to include implementing state of the art executive information systems for such clients as First Interstate Bank, Shearson Lehman Hutton, American Express Bank, Glendale Federal Bank, Saks Fifth Avenue and many smaller firms.

Lynda’s approach is to use information technology to contribute to her clients’ business development goals. Her impressive track record has consistently demonstrated a unique capability to identify critical business needs, define effective technology solutions for those needs, and then successfully and economically implement these solutions so her client companies enjoy significant long-term results.

As the president and founding partner of Woodland Hills-based LJR Consulting Services, Lynda advises clients on ways to improve profitability and productivity through both technology and business processes. She also works with companies and private equity firms on the role of information technology in mergers and acquisitions.
